Policy2Code Demo Day at BenCon 2024: Video and Recap
The Policy2Code Prototyping Challenge explored utilizing generative AI technology to translate U.S. government policies for public benefits into plain language and code, culminating in a Demo Day where twelve teams showcased their projects for feedback and evaluation.
The Policy2Code Prototyping Challenge invited experiments to test how generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology could be used to translate government policies for U.S. public benefits programs into plain language and software code.
Organized by the Digital Benefits Network at the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation and the Massive Data Institute, both based at Georgetown University, the Challenge culminated in the Policy2Code Demo Day on September 17, 2024, during BenCon 2024. At this event, twelve teams presented their experiments, prototypes, and other developments for feedback, awareness, and evaluation.
