Resource Human-Centered Design Forms

Welcome to FormFest

This mainstage session from FormFest 2024 included conversations about form design, accessibility, user experience, and data collection to show how good forms can build trust and confidence in government.

We learned about some of the ways state governments are prioritizing form innovation, starting with Pennsylvania’s “Forms That Don’t Suck” internship. The leaders from the Beeck Center and Code for America shared their “form flubs” to illustrate how governments continue to focus on form fixes. The session ended with a welcome from Maryland Governor Wes Moore, and the State of Maryland Secretary of Information Technology Katie Savage, stressing the importance of government work to improve forms and make services accessible to everyone.
