The Code the Dream (CTD) team presented their Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) -based AI assistant to support community benefits navigators who provide application assistance to people wanting to apply for or manage their benefits. This tool enables benefits navigators to quickly access benefits programs and promptly obtain information regarding client eligibility, potentially streamlining the process and improving outcomes. CTD’s comprehensive benefits screener is created in collaboration with public benefits partners in North Carolina and inspired by Colorado’s MyFriendBen.
