Findsupport.gov: Creating a guide to help people navigate issues with mental health, drugs, or alcohol
This blog discusses a resource developed by the Digital Service at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to assist individuals in navigating mental health, drug, or alcohol issues and connecting with appropriate support services.

FindSupport.gov was created by the Digital Service at CMS (DSAC) in collaboration with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
The project involved six rounds of trauma-informed, qualitative research with over 60 participants from diverse backgrounds, including individuals using Medicaid, those who are uninsured, people with visual impairments, and members of the LGBTQI+ community. The goal was to empower the approximately 30% of Americans facing behavioral health challenges by providing credible, accessible information to help them find the care and support they need.
