The Green Jobs Career Pathways Tool aims to connect job seekers in Ramsey County and St. Paul with sustainable climate-positive career pathways.
Facing challenges such as environmental degradation and economic disparities, Saint Paul and Ramsey County partnered with TOPC to create pathways for residents into green jobs.
The initiative involved identifying local workforce needs, engaging community stakeholders, and developing training programs tailored to prepare residents for careers in renewable energy, sustainable construction, and other climate-resilient sectors. By aligning these efforts with existing economic development plans, the project aimed to foster both environmental sustainability and economic equity.
