DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position works closely with project and program managers to develop and implement quality control and assurance processes and strive for continuous improvement to ensure customer satisfaction. Communicates with customers on quality issues, requests, and support.
As a Quality Engineer, you will conduct quality audits and develop and implement corrective action plans, while following up to assess the impact of process/procedural changes. You will develop and executes quality control plans including verification/qualification procedures of new and modified products to ensure product quality.
In this role, you provide assistance and technical guidance to customers on quality standards and actively uses quality metrics to drive continuous improvement programs. Identifies and manages quality risks before they become issues.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:Â
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

- Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part time.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

- Three years reviewing specifications and design documents, processing software, designing tests to assess software, and coordinating testing activities with software engineers and programmers; or
- Three years of experience designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures; or
- Three years of experiencing documenting software defects using a bug tracking system; or
- Three years of experience communicating between business and development teams of bugs and issues that are being reviewed.
