Digital Service Network Spotlights: Spring 2025 Open Call for Submissions

Since its founding in 2022, the Digital Service Network has connected, supported, and advised public servants in using human-centered strategies to deliver digital services that meet the needs and expectations of people who use them.

DSN Spotlights celebrate stories about human-centered digital government service delivery, lift up actionable takeaways for other public servants, and put the resources and examples we host in the Digital Government Hub in context. From gender-inclusive forms to digital library cards, we’ve had the privilege of showcasing digital initiatives led by more than a dozen governments across North America since we launched our Spotlight series in May 2023.

Submit a Spotlight for DSN’s Open Call

Now more than ever, sharing stories about the work of skillful and dedicated public servants is essential. That’s why we’re launching a new, open submission process for our Spotlight series. 

While our network is vast, we know there’s still a trove of excellent digital government work happening across North America that we’re not yet aware of. Opening our Spotlight series to direct government submissions will help us tell the important— and oft-unsung— stories about this work.

If you are a public servant working on a digital government initiative that you think would be a good fit for a DSN Spotlight, please complete our Spotlight submission form by May 31, 2025 at 11:59pm Pacific. Details about what makes an initiative a good feature for a Spotlight are in the form. 

We’ll notify you by June 30, 2025 to let you know if your proposal is selected. We plan to open our submission process a few times a year, so don’t worry if you miss this round or aren’t quite ready to submit your project.
