Climate Action Community of Practice (CoP)

The Climate Action Community of Practice (CoP) is a dedicated space for local government practitioners in the United States who are working to address the increasing impacts of climate change in their communities. Through peer learning, shared resources, and targeted technical assistance, this CoP helps members leverage technology, data, and policy solutions to build climate resilience in their communities.

Our CoP bridges the gap between cutting-edge climate research and local government action so that communities—especially those most vulnerable to climate disruptions—have the knowledge, tools, and support needed to implement effective and equitable solutions.

Community

This CoP is designed for local government practitioners who are committed to advancing climate resilience using technology, data, and innovative governance strategies. Local governments include any employee who works in cities/municipalities, counties, townships, special districts, and independent school districts in the United States.
